Comfort & Hospitality

When you come to Low Graythwaite Hall you can be assured of an excellent stay in comfortable and welcoming surroundings. From the moment you step into the oak panelled hallway, then through to the spacious guest lounge with its magnificent fireplace and fantastic views, you will sense that you are in for a special stay in this Lake District Bed and Breakfast.

Log fires and deep comfortable sofas entice you to snuggle down with a good book and a hot drink or relax with your friends over a bottle of wine. In the summertime we throw open the French doors which lead you out to the lovely gardens where you can sit and enjoy the view. If we see you in the lounge we are happy to provide you with hot drinks and delicious cookies.

The breakfast room, with its oak panelling, open fire, feature round window and French doors opening onto the large lawns and gardens, is where we set our guests off on a great start to the day! A traditional Cumberland full breakfast is served each morning using only locally farmed or organic produce and our own free range eggs. If you prefer something lighter, a range of produce is available on our breakfast buffet. Our tea and coffee is all Fairtrade. Vegetarians and guests with special dietary needs can be accommodated.

"We loved staying here, it is a home from home. Fantastic breakfast, gorgeous house and surroundings, lakes etc. We will recommend you to everyone and hope to come again."
